I want to take a moment to address AI. It may be an unpopular view, but I believe we are heading towards or are already in an AI tech bubble. The signs are everywhere. Recently a class-action law suit was brought against Samsung, who already has a history of this behavior, for colluding to inflate memory and chip prices artificially under the guise of AI resource needs. You also have many companies in and out of gaming already pivoting to AI betting on it being a perfect solution to employee salary costs. Then there is the environmental concerns... The likely outcome, at least for the foreseeable future, is that AI can be an amazing tool to assist, research and teach. But the soul, heart, and creativity of the human species is what creates dreams and art. AI can be instructed to make hollow soulless content, but eventually when it does not accomplish what everyone wants it to, and the bubble pops, the creators will have the upper hand and it will cost a lot more to escape that gravitational field than it cost to create it.
